Denver's 7 is proud to sponsor the 18th Annual Cherry Creek Arts Festival.As Colorado's signature cultural event, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival is one of the nation's most competitive outdoor juried arts festivals. The Arts Festival boasts the rare opportunity for visitors to meet and talk with exhibiting artists, sample fine cuisine, visit special exhibits and create their own works of art.Artistic categories include ceramics, digital art, drawing, fiber, glass, graphics and printmaking, jewelry, metalwork, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture, and wood. The Arts Festival also offers artists demonstrations, the Art Auction, Artivity Avenue for families, and an award- winning volunteer program.
Arts in Action, the Arts Festival's year-round arts and education program currently serve over 12,000 youth in the Denver metropolitan area.When is the Arts Festival?
Friday, July 4 -- 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Festival Nights 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Sunday, July 6 -- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with Handicap Accessibility 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Come enjoy a "sneak peek" at 27 of the 230 Visual Artists juried to exhibit at the 2008 Cherry Creek Arts Festival. The public is invited to participate in this free event on Thursday, July 3rd, from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. The event takes place on Clayton Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues in Cherry Creek North. The Artist Preview Event will feature gorgeously lit streets and artist booths, spirited beverage opportunities, strolling entertainment and more!"Fireworks Spectacular"

The auction features over 140 works of art generously donated by exhibiting artists available for bidding by the public. It's a great way to view the majority of the visual artists all in one place! Arts Festival Emerging Artists Program
This program is not only a unique opportunity for up-and-coming artists to exhibit their work to the public, but also a chance to establish contact between the public and new and diverse art forms that have not yet been enjoyed at this event. This year, 8 Emerging Artists will exhibit their work on 3rd Avenue between Fillmore and Milwaukee. Prior to the event, Emerging Artists received mentoring from the Arts Festival and experienced exhibitors in preparation for their first time exhibiting.Artivity Avenue Visit Milwaukee Avenue and experience Artivity Avenue, a full city-block of interactive themed activities for the entire family to enjoy.At Creation Station, children can engage in many interactive art projects with involvement from the Denver Botanic Gardens, Children's Museum of Denver, the Denver Hospice and the Colorado Parent Magazine.Anything can happen throughout the day at the Cherry Creek Shopping Center Family Stage, sponsored by The Children's Hospital, as the live entertainment – including musical performances, dance troupes, puppet shows and magic shows – provides an endless variety of entertainment and amusement for all ages.Culinary Art Enjoy a delectable array of cuisine on Culinary Row, located on St. Paul Street between Second and Third Avenues. Experience treats from some of Denver's most popular eateries. Selected by a jury, these restaurants highlight specialty menu items at reasonable prices.
